1. About these terms
These terms apply when you use propscopilot.com ("PropsCopilot"), free or paid. PropsCopilot is run by Charterstone Consultancy Limited ("we", "us"); our company details are on the company information page. By creating an account or buying Pro you agree to these terms. Your legal rights as a consumer are not affected by anything in them.
2. Who can use PropsCopilot
You must be 18 or over. One account per person. Keep your password private; you're responsible for activity on your account until you tell us it has been misused.
3. What PropsCopilot is, and what it isn't
- PropsCopilot is a set of analysis and practice tools for people taking prop-firm challenges: simulations (PassLab, the Challenge Advisor), a practice game (the Arena), planners, guides and answers to rulebook questions.
- It is analysis, not advice. Nothing on PropsCopilot is financial, investment, tax or legal advice, or a recommendation to buy any challenge, product or trade. Simulations are estimates based on the numbers you enter and stated assumptions; real results will differ.
- We never hold your money, place trades, or ask for your broker or prop-firm logins.
- Firm rules on PropsCopilot are quoted from each firm's own pages, with the date we last checked. Firms change their rules. Always check the firm's current terms before you buy a challenge.
- We are not part of, or endorsed by, any prop firm. Where we earn a referral fee from a link, we say so next to the link.
4. Free and Pro
The free tools stay free. Pro adds more: currently 10,000-path PassLab runs, the Challenge Advisor risk finder and cost per funded account, more Challenge Advisor comparisons and more Ask questions each day. The Pro page shows what's included and the price. We may improve or change features; if we take away something important that you've paid for, you can cancel and get a refund for the part of your period you haven't used.
5. Pro subscriptions and payment
- Price. The price shown before you pay is the full price, including any VAT. Nothing else is added.
- Billing. You pay when you start, then every month or year (the plan you choose) on the same date, until you cancel. Payments are handled by our payment provider, named on the payment page. If that page shows the provider selling to you as our reseller (a "merchant of record"), its buyer terms apply as well as these. We never see or store your card details.
- Offers. If you subscribe at an offer price, you keep that price for as long as you stay subscribed.
- Reminders. On monthly plans we email you a reminder at least once in every six months; on yearly plans we email you 30 and 7 days before each renewal.
- Price changes. If we change the price of your plan we'll email you at least 30 days before it applies to you. You can cancel before then and pay nothing more.
- Failed payments. If a renewal payment fails, Pro stays on for 3 days while you update your card; after that your account returns to the free plan.
6. Cancelling
You can cancel at any time in one click: Account > Cancel subscription. We confirm by email straight away. Details of the 14-day full refund and what happens after are in Cancellation and refunds.
7. Invite codes and free Pro
Invite codes give Pro free for the period stated with the code. They work once, can't be exchanged for money and can't be sold. Free Pro from an invite doesn't turn into a paid subscription unless you choose to subscribe.
8. Fair use of your account
- Use PropsCopilot for yourself. Don't share your account, resell access or copy our content or results in bulk.
- Don't try to break, overload or get around the limits of the service, or scrape it with automated tools.
- Display names on the Arena leaderboard must not be offensive, impersonate anyone or include contact details or links. We may remove names that break this.
9. Our responsibility to you
- We provide PropsCopilot with reasonable care and skill, and as described. If we don't, tell us and we'll put it right; if we can't, you may be entitled to a full or partial refund. This doesn't affect your statutory rights.
- We are responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill.
- PropsCopilot is for private use. We are not responsible for trading losses, challenge fees, lost profits or business losses, because our tools give estimates and you make your own decisions.
- Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law doesn't allow us to limit.
10. Availability
We aim to keep PropsCopilot running all the time, but it may sometimes be unavailable for maintenance or reasons outside our control. If Pro is unavailable for a long period, contact us and we'll extend or refund your subscription fairly.
11. Suspending or closing accounts
You can delete your account at any time from your account page. We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms; we'll tell you why, and if you paid for Pro we'll refund any unused part unless the closure was because of fraud or abuse.
12. Complaints
Email [email protected]. We'll acknowledge it within 2 working days and aim to resolve it within 14 days. We don't currently use an alternative dispute resolution scheme. You can get free, independent advice from the Citizens Advice consumer service.
13. Law and courts
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring a claim in the courts of England and Wales, or, if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, in the courts where you live.
14. Changes to these terms
We'll update these terms if the service or the law changes. For changes that affect your subscription we'll email you at least 30 days in advance, and you can cancel before they apply. The date of the latest version is at the top of this page.
